The company you work for or own will innovate and create new products or services. The markets will change There will be new company policies. That CRM or office software you work with will be updated or replaced by another program with different and new features. You want that promotion.
People and businesses will want to interact with you in different ways (Facebook, Twitter, Skype). Social changes will occur. Who to vote for in those upcoming elections. What’s that new trend you keep hearing about.
All these things have a learning curve of some kind. It might be something small like checking a website or reading a manual. It might be a big steeper so that you have to follow a seminar, workshop or course.
But when you close your mind to the possibility of another reality, you might miss out on an opportunity or change that may be waiting for you in your personal, professional or social life. So can you ever afford to stop learning and be open to new things? Simple answer: no.
