Sharing your life

Monday, May 15th, 2006

People are sharing more and more of their lives on the web. Sites like Flickr, MySpace or Blogger (where this blog is hosted as well, so guilty as charged on the subject) make it easy to share as many of your experiences, opinions or pictures as you like.

One of the more innovative ways that have come along is the Six Minute Project. The setup is pretty easy: you take a picture every six minutes during one day of your life and post it on the website through a photostream. Easy and simple, yet interesting.

Wednesday, May 10th, 2006

But what to do when you have alot of friends. Those small bbq’s just won’t cut it. Enter into the world of BBQ Pits by Klose who are able to get you the baking device you need. Like this pimped out one below.

So this one probably belongs to some rapper who wants some cooking bling, but it would be perfect for a big party.

They created this website to get some buzz going. And it’s funny as hell to boot.

Architect Kyu Sung Woo makes great use of his talents and the available space in his son’s loft apartment, creating a more efficient space to live.

Making use of all available space, especially in an expensive city like New York where rents can be steep, is a great way of getting the most out of your apartment. Of course these practices could be applied to any living space, whether it’s a loft, house or student dorm, but that depends on the inhabitants. Some people will like these somewhat confined spaces, while other will prefer a more open living environment.
